The fight was hard, and we lost, but for the first time in years - republicans FOUGHT! I was only 14 in 1994, but I remember the Contract with America and the resurgence in Congress. Now we need to keep running, and running hard on this bill and the porkulus. The Dems have given us the issues, the question is whether the party has the spine to capitalize on them (starting with backing primary challengers against the turncoats). Sooner or later people will see how this all leads to government ownership, much like the banks, much like the auto industry. The Federal Government will have ultimate control over our energy, our land, our transportation, and the industries we work for. We'll be rewarded by enhanced unemployment payments, "training", and welfare. That Democrat "Blue" sure is looking Communist Red to me.
