How about knowing what minimum wage is first
By JR Hoeft | Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 | PoliticsIs it fair to say that many part-time workers earn minimum wage? I think so – so while I don’t have the statistics readily available, I’m going to make that leap anyway.
Therefore, I think it can be further assumed that the major Democratic candidates for governor, who generally advocate for raising the minimum wage – and have been all over Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell and the House GOP for opposing federal stimulus money for part-time workers – would know what that wage is, correct?
Not quite.
Apparently, that’s a bridge too far for Sen. Creigh Deeds.
