Bill Clinton campaigning with McAuliffe
By | Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 | Catch-All

About a year ago, Bill Clinton campaigned in Virginia for his wife, Hillary and helped her garner a huge loss in the Virginia primary for President as Obama shellacked her 64% to 35%.

Terry McAuliffe thinks that, coupled with two consecutive losses of Virginia of Bill himself for President, makes for a great campaign team.

“Clinton will stump Monday for McAuliffe in Richmond and Roanoke,” reports the Richmond-Times Dispatch.

Now, the only question is will Hillary stump for Patrick Muldoon?

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.
