Soul released – Edmonson reportedly drops Delegate bid, too
By | Saturday, April 11th, 2009 | Politics

“Somehow, Brian Kirwin is channeling through Pat Edmonson and churning a destructive wave within the Democratic Party,” says noted Democrat blogger Dan Sullivan, whom I think shows up to more Republican meetings than I do.

“So Brian, if it is you, I am asking you as a casual acquaintance, don’t make me find a priest on Easter weekend. Release her soul voluntarily.”

So sayeth ye, so it shall be done!

BD sources, and other bloggers, are saying Pay Edmonson has dropped her race for Delegate about an hour after blasting out an email announcing her run.

And I’m starting to wonder if someone who goes from running for LG to Delegate to nothing in the space of a day should actually remain on the VB School Board.

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.
