Operation Spoilsport: Pat Edmonson drops LG race…to run for Delegate
By | Friday, April 10th, 2009 | Politics

It’s a good day to be Del. Bob Purkey!

Democrat Pat Edmonson filed today, but not for Lieutenant Governor. She’s now running against Democrat Peter Schmidt in a primary to decide who will challenge Del. Bob Purkey!

Fun Fun in Virginia Beach! Looks like she didn’t like the support Democrats were giving her.

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.
