Audio highlight: Gary Byler interview
By | Monday, April 6th, 2009 | Politics

This past weekend, the Republican Party of Virginia met to vote on whether party chairman Jeff Frederick should be removed from office. Gary Byler, chairman of the 2nd Congressional District of RPV, was a Frederick supporter and has been mentioned as a potential candidate for RPV chair.

By a vote of 57-18, with one pass, the measure carried at 76%. The threshold for removal is 75%.

Byler was unequivocal in this interview that Frederick should not seek election for chairman at the GOP convention in late May.
