Wow......Someone uses the name "Another Moderate" to tout Mullins for RPV Chairman.

Interesting. Fitting too.

Louisa? I am from Louisa. How many times has this guy been up and on the road at 4 a.m. putting up signs, stood in the County Courthouse til midnight waiting for returns, sat at the County Fair booth handing out literature oh I dunno how long ago......since he moved out of NoVa to Louisa County? How many times has this guy attempted to get moderates into the little ole strong-willed Louisa Republican Committee? But where are they now? Not in the Committee........and NOR ARE THE conservatives he possibly ran off. Just my opinion. Just saying.

I don't know Frederick. I like the underdog though especially with what I'm reading as alternatives. I read alot. I am thinking lots of folks do lots of reading.

George Allen? Really? Really?

I left the Party a while back....good ole boys. Yep.

Cantor? HA HA HA HA HA.

AM - Well, this time there are more delegates and a different environment that would be involved. Not sure if the result will be any better, but just the same, if I recall correctly the SCC can only appoint someone to serve until May 30th when a new chairman will be elected to serve the rest of the four year term (two more years, I believe), barring another 3/4 majority being upset with them.

Gee, Jason, they did such a great job the last time. I think that the best candidate for the position is Pat Mullins. Pat is a proven conservative who has managed two units and knows what it takes to be Party Chairman.

Pat Mullins managed FCRC back when Fairfax County was the epi-center of Republican Party politics. He has taken Louisa County and done the same thing. We need people who know what they are doing. Beyond all of Jeff's obvious boo-boos, he was unfamiliar with the workings of the Party and what the job of Chairman really entails...Going out and raising money and being the face of the Party.

I too, like Chris Saxman, but unfortunately I do not think he is right for the job. Jim Gilmore is a non-starter, Hager would never get through State Central and while some have rumored Sandy Liddy Bourne (I think she is a great woman) I do not thin she is ready for this position.

Though, any of the above would be better than what we have...so, I guess any way we go, its a plus.

I believe that any new chairman would have to be elected at the Convention, giving the grassroots a voice in the process of finding a replacement.

If they are shutting out the public, I guss that means it will not be a recorded vote either. What happened to the days when Rs had courage? Besides, what is going on that they are ashamed of.

I have two thoughts on a new chairman should it be necessary. First is that if he or she is not part of the insider group, they would be crazy for trying to work with them. Second, if they are... they are not worth having.

SCC says they are representing the grassroots... then, as our representatives, we should demand entrance! Represetatives report to the boss... or is there another boss pulling the strings?

You are jumping too far ahead of events. We simplify life greatly when we take it one step at a time. Who might replace Frederick is irrelevant at this point. If Frederick is removed, we will settle the matter of his replacement in due time.

What is important is that justice is served. Whether he is the Chairman of the RPV, President of the United States, or an ordinary citizen, each man, woman, and child deserves to be treated justly by their fellow citizens. The media show we have received thus far does not constitute justice. It is only mildly entertaining thoroughly disgusting.

Since Frederick has denied the charges, we owe him the justice of a fair and impartial hearing. Did Frederick break the rules? If he did, what rules? Does breaking those rules merit Frederick’s removal from office? We have yet to have an impartial hearing determine any of these things.

I am a big fan of Chris Saxman, but I hope we learned our lesson about officeholders as RPV Chairman - it's not a good idea. No way to John Hager - he lost fair and square and is too old. Jim Gilmore - could anyone be serious about that?!!!
