Wow! Lee and Pam, I couldn’t agree or have really said it any better myself. Other than the fact that I am particularly upset with the way that Fredericks has handled this whole thing like a middle school boy who just got dumped by his girlfriend so he gave out her number to everyone and said “call for a good time”. Because that’s exactly what happend to Mike Thomas, who has been recieving harrassing phone calls for the past two weeks now. This also touches personally seeing as how he is my father-in-law. This kind of behavior can’t be tolerated in the Republican party at a crucial point like this when unity is so important. Our nation is crumbling before our very eyes at the hand of the liberal dems and its the conservatives that will have to step up and play super hero yet again, but not with our party relying on people like Jeff. Nothing has gotten done and will continue to get done with this man in office, so Jeff, please re-sign and save face.

When did you join the Republican Party?

I thought you were a Libertarian, and did not hang with us rascally Republicans. We are the same as Democrats according to you and Robert Dean.

Why do you care about the RPV Chairman discussion if you are not a member of The Party, and don’t think much of Bob McDonnell–our nominee?

Lee, you are splitting hairs with the word “crook” but, ok. There is room for misinterpretation there. However, you called him a fraud. Fraud is a crime. When many of your fellow rebels call him outright “theif” I would be careful with such words as fraud.

Charges raised by the SCC pretty much accuse him of skimming.

Read some of these posts on here. There are people just here on BD, let alone elswhere that call him a “theif” outright. He is being painted on a wholesale level as a theif!

IF……he stole. Involve the law. Have him prosecuted.

I wasn’t suggesting mere charges and accusations hurled from SCC.

Thief is a strong word. Back it up.

Realize 99% of every elected Republican in this state, his direct “customers” wants him removed. Have they been so unified on anything else? Think about the enormity of that.

Lee, if Jeff is a crook and a fraud, bring him up on charges.

If your allegations are true and Frederick is found guilty, then Frederick backers will thank you and not have problems supporting candidates that backed his removal. The RPV will owe you thanks.

Jim. It was less than 3000 people at the convention. Esp by the time the vote for Chairman came down.

At the end of the day other than to show he’s a “man” and doesn’t back down what is he going to win here. No one wants him on their team. He’s being like some crazy stalker ex-girlfriend who just wont go away. Kinda like some twisted political version of Fatal Attraction.

Of course, I say all this but it does not change the fact that I believe Jeff is nothing but a crook and fraud!

While the Chairman’s “chief concern” may be “winning the governorship in ’09,” the person who is actually running for Governor seems to think he would be better off without Frederick playing a role.

How Frederick has winning the governorship as a top concern when the person he is allegedly trying to help win has no use for him and wants him to go away is sort of stunning.

The people Frederick allegedly is there to help win think he is a lodestone. If McDonnell thought having Frederick around would improve his chances of winning then he would have never said a word. But he did. If I need to choose who has a better idea of what McDonnell needs to do to win, then I suspect I would choose McDonnell over Frederick.

The vast majority of the party’s candidates/elected officials believe he can best help them win election/re-election by going away. Think about that. Does Frederick actually want to make the case that they are wrong and that his staying against their desires will actually make them more likely to win? What sort of bizarro world is he living in?

If J-Fred wants to stay he will have to continue combating the charges in public. His goal should be to obtain a substantial minority at the April 4, 2009 meeting. This minority will be made up of supporters, and people uncomfortable with the stated reasons for removal.

The winner of this fight will probably be the folks who keep the pressure on the other side. The SSC members who are not fully committed one way or the other will feel pressure from the outside to move with the tide of opinion. Right now the tide will shift slightly back towards J-Fred until the SSC rebuts J-Fred’s explanations or further explains their charges.

J-Fred may have released the explanations too early, unless he knows they are rock solid.
