Brownlee endorsed by SC and CO Attorney Generals
By | Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 | Politics

John Brownlee picked up two endorsements today from two other State Attorney Generals: Henry McMaster of South Carolina and John Suthers of Colorado.

McMaster said:

“I was honored to be appointed as Ronald Reagan’s first United States Attorney. Serving as US Attorney gave me invaluable experience and unique insight to later serve as South Carolina’s Attorney General.

“Virginians are fortunate to have their own former prosecutor, U.S. Attorney and veteran running this year for Attorney General – John Brownlee. John is a good man and a solid conservative, with the experience to be an able and effective Attorney General from his first moment on the job.”

And Suthers wrote:

“Having a background as a prosecutor has been invaluable to me as a state Attorney General. My service as a U. S. Attorney was great preparation for the challenges I face as A.G.

“John Brownlee was a colleague of mine who performed with distinction as a U.S. Attorney in Virginia. That experience would serve him well as Virginia’s Attorney General.”
