Book Review: Meltdown
By | Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 | Policy

MeltdownDuring CPAC last month, I attended the Campaign for Liberty reception and listened to a slew of great speakers including Thomas Woods, who has recently authored the New York Times Bestseller, Meltdown. Although it starts off a little slow the book does a solid job of explaining the dangers of non-commodity currency controlled 100% by the government and how the Federal Reserve system has forced a Boom-Bust business cycle in America since the 1920’s including today’s economic crisis. I highly recommend this easy-to-read book to anyone who wants to get a better understanding of our monetary system and its alternatives.
