Kaine goes after Limbaugh
By | Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 | Politics

Chairman Kaine, fresh off of passing a budget in Virginia solely because of federal stimulus dollars, has decided to enter into the whole Limbaugh-flap by issuing this statement today:

“Today, President Obama and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood unveiled new job-creating infrastructure projects that were made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. These projects are helping put Americans back to work while also investing in repairing our crumbling infrastructure. But, instead of joining Democrats in supporting the President’s economic recovery plan, almost every single Republican in Congress chose to follow Rush Limbaugh by voting against a plan that will create or save 3.5 million jobs. Now, instead of the denouncing Limbaugh’s claim that he is rooting for the President to fail, my counterpart at the Republican National Committee proved who is really leading their party — calling Rush Limbaugh to apologize after courageously criticizing him just this weekend.

“Americans want leaders who will work together to confront the challenges we face. When Congress debates the President’s budget, Republicans should stop following Rush Limbaugh and instead help the President create jobs, fix our schools, reform our health care system, make America energy independent, and lay the foundation for long-term growth in the 21st Century.”

Thanks Tim…we really appreciate your input. Now go back home and STFU.

    Who’s Tim Kaine?

Notice the “stimulus” package has changed from “Creating jobs” to Tim Kaine’s “create or save” – in other words, it’s a bailout.

I refuse to believe that Kaine thinks Rush runs the GOP. I don’t care how much Kaine insists.

If Rush gave the marching orders, the Republican Party would actually be conservative and value fiscal responsibility and the Free Market. The GOP would be far better off.

Since I believe that Kaine doesn’t believe his own smack, I’m left with the conclusion that he sold or gave away his soul to be the DNC mouth piece.

RNC Chairman Steele backed off his earlier remarks trying to distance the Republican Party from Rush’s remarks.

Evidently, the Republican Party leadership is going to continue to worship at he altar of Rush Limbaugh. Good luck finding moderate votes at that altar.

Glad to see Tim Kaine has enough time to chime in given his hectic schedule as towel boy to the President and Emanuel, but his views I imagine are still credible to those who actually believe he knows something about budgets. You would think a guy who basically sank the ship of one of the most pro-business States in the country would be stay in his cave, instead he feels content to have his sheer imcompetance bailed out by the federal government. Its amazing just how popular Warner and Kaine are given the fact they both were real successful at generating shortfalls to the budget….had they been Republicans they would have railroaded long ago.
