Whitman Speaks at Cantor Event
By Jane Dudley | Friday, February 27th, 2009 | Politics
Former eBay CEO Meg Whitman, now running for Governor of California, spoke today at a large campaign breakfast for Eric Cantor in Richmond. Sounding very much like her former boss Mitt Romney, Whitman trashed the taxes and regulation that make life difficult for businesses. “We are near a tipping point,” she said. If business is the main engine of democracy, then taxes this high and higher may break the engine. She also said that “Californians can no longer afford the government they have” and that as Governor she would bring Californians the government they deserve.

“Sounding very much like her former boss Mitt Romney…”
Yeah, that would be my problem with her if I lived in California. Mitt Romney was the “Tell me what I have to say to get elected and I’ll say it” candidate.
What’s wrong with Mitt Romney and his experience??????
I want someone in Sacramento that will listen to the citizens and take some action to get us back on track………….this spending is just out of control.
