Podcast: Commonwealth Conservatives #1
By JR Hoeft | Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 | PodcastsIt’s a new show!
With a sign of respect to the still king of conservative blogging in Virginia, Judge Chad Dotson, we have named our new show “Commonwealth Conservatives.”
In this inaugural episode, Rep. Eric Cantor describes the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan first hand, and Shaun and I discuss the smoking ban (including RPV’s unprecedented opposition), the GOP transportation bill, AG McDonnell resigning, and statewide Democrats cozying up to unions.
We also discuss the GOP AG race between State Sen. Ken Cuccinelli and former federal prosecutor John Brownlee…particularly in respect to the death penalty. Shaun, predictably, goes after Brownlee, but I give it my best to maintain a degree of neutrality.
