JR, wanna be scared?
I’m the exact same thing you are.

My Conservative Identity:You are a Flag-Waving Everyman, also known as a patriot. You believe in freedom, apple pie, rooting for America at all times, and that God gave us a two-day weekend so we could enjoy football and NASCAR.Take the quiz at http://www.FightLiberals.com
I am a cultural, fiscal, and national security conservative. My worldview is formed in the Word of God first, and the Constitution second, and I have not once had to see the two contradict one another because the Constitution was shaped on the precepts of the Bible.
Some might say that I am a theocrat, I would call myself a Constitutional Conservative.
“It is impossible to rightly govern the world,
without God and the Bible.”–President George Washington
My Conservative Identity:You are an Anti-government Gunslinger, also known as a libertarian conservative. You believe in smaller government, states’ rights, gun rights, and that, as Reagan once said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”Take the quiz at http://www.FightLiberals.com
That quiz makes me proud not to be a conservative… Confederate flag on the moon, wow.
I just can’t figure out why more people don’t vote Republican.
Mark,
And liberals wonder why they are accused of not having a sense of humor.
It’s true, Republicans have a great sense of humor, how else can you explain nominating Palin for VP? Or listening to half of what Boehner says? Too funny.
As for the quiz, you and I can think it’s funny, and I know Jim has a good sense of humor, but I doubt the author constructed the quiz for amusement.
At least Palin did not ask a cripple guy to stand up. At least Palin did not state FDR went on TV in 1929. Joe will provide plenty of laughs over the next four years. Which is a good thing since it will make it more bearable putting up with the “One”.
I sure hope he does a better job dealing with our enemies then he did vetting some of his candidates for Cabinet positions. Otherwise, we won’t need to laugh because we will all be dead.
Of course W did such a great job protecting us – remember 9/11?
What could be worse than W’s idea of vetting? A moron at Defense (heck, it only cost us a few thousand American lives before W and Rummy decided maybe we needed to change strategy)
The others weren’t much better, but at least they didn’t cost lives – except in mine safety and thanks to tainted peanut butter…
Thanks for hijacking another perfectly good post, Mark, with your desire to live in the past.
Mark,
Sorry but 911 was planned long before Bush was in Office. The terrorists saw how easy it was to attack America while Clinton was in office. They also saw like the typical liberal, Clinton would rather not offend the World by using our military to protect us.
Even dim witted Joe Biden got it right when he said that Obama would be tested in the first six months of his Presidency and the response would not be popular. He employed his supporters to go out and convince people to rally behind Obama. Yup, that is the kind of leadership I want for America.
Obama has already been made a fool by Iran.
Obama says he will close Gtimo, yet has no clue what to do with the terrorists there. Yup, that sounds like a great plan.
JR, if you had Mark’s life, you’d want to live in the past, too.
Not to change the subject or anything but, the quiz thing…….it didn’t have questions about taxpayer subsidies for Town Center or about the HRTA. How are our local politicians really going to know if they’re fiscally conservative or not?
Yea, I loved the past 8 years. It was great having two draft dodgers leading our country. Two cowardly idiots who were told Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda wanted to strike in America, but they were more interested in wrecking our economy, politicizing Washington, and getting us into wars than in protecting America.
Yep, it was great there in the past. Of course there are some folks like Manasas there who really miss the fear mongering and trampling on our Constitution in the name of some neo-con cowardly “safe at all costs” attitude – but then, what do you expect from two “leaders” who were too afraid to serve their country in uniform? Of course they want everyone else to do whatever it takes, including breaking the law, to keep their yellow asses safe. Seriously, have we ever had two bigger wimps in the White House? I doubt it.
Now, as for our lives, I’m going to guess I’m more than a bit happier than you – but I digress, and I don’t want to make you any more bitter than you already are… I’m not sure anyone could take you then.

Well, I don’t really think they asked enough questions, but the results are reasonably accurate. I’m kind of an “all of the above” conservative Republican. Every significant issue in the center-right coalition; you name it, I own it.
And what was that question about WHICH bumpersticker to put on my car? Why can’t I have them all?
