Should old acquaintence be forgot?

In some cases, yes. Even those you meet on Twitter.

But not quite so fast.

What memories do you have of 2008?

Watching in disbelief and horror when BOTH John McCain and Barack Obama voted to advance the cause of Socialism and support a multiBILLION dollar bailout of wealthy Wallstreet fat cats that robbed one another and destroyed the economy.

My biggest regret of 2008 was deleting all the content from Bearing Drift from the previous years. There was some good stuff in years past.

But 2008 was a year of great hope and change…for us.

Not only were we recognized by the GOP to attend the convention, but we also covered both state conventions, and were credentialed media to several political events.

The website’s new look finally works…so with a little tweaking in ’09, I think we’ll get all the bells and whistles together.

We brought some awesome new contributors on in ’08, including Amit Singh, Del. Chris Saxman, Jason Kenney, Jeremy Hinton, Danae Jones, Jane Dudley, Chris Obenshain, DCH, and Shaun Kenney…They all bring their own style and substance – and I think add great value to the discussion.

    2009 is looking good!
