    Yeah, what a great guy.

He leaves me thinking I got into the wrong line of work.

He makes a quarter million as a self employed plumber? My gosh, his investment in a few pipe wrenches and a broken down van nets him a quarter million? How could I have been so stupid to invest so much more to yield so much less.

Being a plumber is recession proof. When your sewer line starts backing up into your house you will be willing to pay whatever price necessary just so you do not have to deal with the shit..

I’m starting to think I need to take up a new line of work. I make a good living delivering toilet paper as a truck driver. But toilet paper is an after thought. Joe the plumber has the strangle hold on the economy. The Amercan voter will pay whatever price necesary just so long as they do not have to deal with shit.

He’s probably more qualified than Palin…

Little David–you are not very bright. He did not say he made a quarter million dollars as a plumber. He said that he is thinking of buying a plumbing business that could possibly bring in $250,000-$280,000/yr. He asked a simple question and got a clear answer from Obama. The answer is Obama is a socialist. He wants to take from successful hard working Americans and give it to lazy, worthless Americans who probably already live off the government, Obama just wants to give them a pay raise at our expense, so they can have the some things and opportunities in life that many of us worked hard to earn. Turn on your listening ears and listen to what is being said. He is a plumber, not a “licensed” plumber, oh well, he doesn’t work for a stupid union. Big woop, he is probably a better plumber than union plumbers. Common sense, like Joe has, makes a huge difference.

Mark– Palin is way more qualified than Obama, and she is number two on the ticket, need I remind you. Name one major accomplishment of Obama, name a city he was a major of, name a state he was a governor of, name a budget that he ever managed, what National Guard was he a commander-and-chief off. Name one thing he hunted or caught that he lived off of. Could he survive in sub-zero temperatures. Palin has made way more strives in her life than Obama, plus she a woman, so a great organizer and mult-tasker. Obama is weak on energy, Palin is strong. Palin is down-to-earth, Obama thinks he descended from the heavens. Please, Mark, you need to educate yourself. Hell, Joe the Plumber is more qualified than Obama to run this country.

Do you actually believe any of your empty justifications? If you have half a brain and the ability to read, I doubt it.

What a real conservative - not a GOP-slave - logical perspective on Palin and by default McCain?

    Conservatives Rock On,

Gee, you have such a great style of convincing people. Start off with an insult.

You said (about Obama) “He wants to take from successful hard working Americans…” but you pointed out that Joe the Plumber was seeking to buy a business where I guess he would profit from the labor of a number of other hard working plumbers? I guess you are the type that thinks CEO’s should receive billion dollar bonuses because of their “hard work” convincing workers they do not need a pay raise?

Meanwhile, from how I understand the tax code, Joe really wouldn’t have to worry too much about increased taxes because he would only pay increased taxes on that portion of his income over $250,000 and not on the portions under it. This would true if his business was either a sole proprietership or an S-Corp. Yeah, his taxes might go up by a few hundred bucks because he might have profits over $250,000 but if he makes that much income he can afford it.
