I just thought of another Republican who I can vote for and that would be Bob Tata. Of course I have heard that Bob is thinking about retiring as well. I hope not.

I also like Jim Gilmore. I will probably end up voting for Mark Warner, but it will not be because I dislike Jim, only that I slightly prefer Mark. I will not condemn anyone who votes for Jim. I only hope we can find a job for Jim after, as the polls seem to indicate, he loses this election. He's too good a man for us to keep him sitting on the sidelines.

Jody,

I am tempted to dismiss you as being just another example of the McCain/Palin debate.

But answering your question I would say John Warner. Too bad he is retiring. He had my vote as long as he asked for it.

LittleDavid, (is that your name for your private parts? If so, keep that to yourself.) You're a liar when you say you would vote for a good Republican. Who are you refering to, Olympia Snowe?

I do not care how much money the candidates raise. It ain't going to influence my vote.

I was willing to vote for Bozo the Clown to run Thelma out of office. Glenn Nye (at least in my opinion) is not a Bozo.

I am glad the Democrats nominated somebody reasonable this time around. While I am willing to vote for Bozo, Bozo might not have broad spectrum appeal.

Let's run that gal out of office. Too bad we can't tar and feather her. She wants to raise my taxes by about $5,000 a year ($2,000 for the average middle class tax payer) in order to give the likes of Paris Hilton a tax cut so she can have more money to party with!

Thelma Drake has not been a leader. She has been a lock step follower of where the Republican Party has gone wrong. I'll still vote for a good Republican. But Thelma does not qualify for being in the list of the good ones.
