All we have (predictably) heard this week is how “angry” McCain supporters are and how American should be afraid of them. Hell, even Rep. Lewis basically called McCain and his supporters separatists. Well, I am not sure a few people standing up at rallies and yelling is scary, but if MSNBC and CNN say so, then it must be true.
So what should we do? How can we better ourselves? How does one conduct themselves in a calm, rational manner to show support of their candidate in an enlightened, civil and intellectual manner? Look to the bastion of liberal enlightenment, of course: New York City. Here is how some Obama supporters calmly showed that they disagreed with McCain supporters.

Awesome and that takes lot of courage to do. Politics is all about perception. When you enter into the enemies territory, you not only make them mad, but, make them think there is some support for McCain within the liberal community. In the future, if republicans want to make inroads in New York, they have to start campaigning in liberal States. Even before we start New York, they have to start with California. If they lay the ground work in precinct level, you will see that the elections will be closer in liberal states.
It is very hard to just defend small red states. We have to make inroads into one of the big states. California can be challenged.
The difference is whether the insanity comes from within the campaign or without. I know you want to spin and justify – but, the fact is that Obama has done nothing to warrant these kind of outbursts.
It’s McCain, but to a greater degree Palin who have decided that winning is more important than the country – and have made that clear in the tactics used in their speeches/ commercials.
