Or how about the insanity of a candidate repudiated by her own state’s legislature unanimously – even though her party controls the legislature?

Then WSJ is over-reaching too. This is pretty black and white. If the decision was that she was within her “constitutional authority”, then there’s really nothing more to be said.

Seriously, this is like saying someone almost broke the law and claiming it’s scandalous.

You either did or you didn’t. If you didn’t you’re innocent and life goes one.

I think you, and many of the other folks who are making such accusations on the right need to be extremely careful lest your words manifest themselves into actions by some truly anti-American by others on the right. Some of the words exclaimed at McCain rallies should be embarassing – AND concerning for the future of our land. How about putting “America First”?

Alaska Probe Says Palin Abused Her Authority

A long-awaited Alaska legislative report concluded that Republican Sen. John McCain’s vice-presidential running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin, abused her authority and broke state ethics law by trying to remove her former brother-in-law from his job as a state trooper.

But the report also concluded that the Republican governor did not unlawfully fire her public-safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, who said he had been pressured to oust the trooper, Mike Wooten. The report said other factors were involved in Mr. Monegan’s controversial dismissal.

Now, where does what i said differ from the above?

Now that that’s been demonstrated, it will be interesting to see how Obama’s associations with Rezko, Ayers, Raines, the New Party, et al. will play out.

Especially if some of these associations are criminal, if not treasonous, in nature.

Finally, how can it be an “abuse of power” if it’s “within her constitutional authority”?

It would appear to me the only person abusing anything is you with the truth by spreading Obama talking points.
