ACORN often catches most of this, but some slides through. As I said. the issue tends to be with registrations. On the other side, this year we have the Michigan GOP attempting to block folks <a href="http://michiganmessenger.com/4076/lose-your-house-lose-your-vote" rel="nofollow">who've been forclosed on</a> from voting. They've gotten into trouble often enough, and don't seem able and/or willing to correct the problems. But its a sad constant that when it comed to voter fraud, both sides always have bad actors. Democrat supporting groups tend to "pad the rolls" with bogus registrations, while Republican groups go more for disenfranchising and preventing votes. Democrats usually get hit first, since most of their shenanigans happen during voter registration drives, while much of the Republican chicanary happens on election day at the polls.
