Hi Tourist

I can get to anywhere 200 miles from New York this summer. So, I am looking for family attractions, close to NY. Using the

New England Road Trip Planner I actually liked the Boston Tourist Attractions . crawling the web, a visit to the

You guys ever see a see saw at the playground with a bunch of kids sitting up near the middle all on on side, but one kid sitting all the way out at the end on the other? Still ends up pretty balanced ....

Jason, I'm sorry for sounding so angry. I guess I am pretty upset at the election cycle this time around... again. No real candidates to vote for and being told by the media and lock steppers that if I vote for someone else than either of the two "main" candidates that I'm either throwing away my vote or I'm going to steal votes from one of the them.

BSW,

All that means is, there is more of a market for centrist and left leaning propoganda than there is for the radical right (you guys are scary).

It has nothing to do with political agendas, just marketing a product to the most people possible.

"But some one has to balance the bias at FOX News"

There is balance to Fox. It is called ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, NY Time, LA Times, etc.

Even I, as an Obama supporter, will admit that the media has seemed biased. However, I do feel the McCain campaign has opened themselves up to some punches with the kinds of ads they've been running. Run enough ads with scary music, erie voices, and warnings of a global meltdown, and your campaign is going to be eyed in something of a negative light. The media knows who the campaign is playing to, and it's not the informed public.

What do you expect to happen posting this? Are you thinking you may be surprised and have one of the “lefties” say they like FOX, or maybe BK will say he enjoys MSNBC? meh…

Actually, I'm hoping to see some thoughts like your first point concerning a bias toward "tow 'main' candidates" and other arguments concerning media bias. Just want to see what others feel and I find it interesting when folks try to make cases for their sites, whether there's a left, right, or other bias involved.

The truth is that none of the major news networks are interested in real journalism.

The are Free Market enterprises with only one objective. Market share ratings. So they're going to play to their audience with the most provocative stories they can generate.

Scare tactics and fear mongering, what ever it takes to keep people glued to their TVs.

There is most definitely a bias in the MSM. They are biased toward the two "main" candidates. And the people eat it up, slinging insults at each other, thinking they are better than the other side. Meanwhile, the ratings go up and reporting goes down, along with our choices for president.

I totally agree that MSN is biased. I don't know how in love they are with Obama, or if its just they'll do anything to avoid another four years of Bush's cronies pulling the strings.

But some one has to balance the bias at FOX News.

I'd suggest if you hate MSN so much not to watch it, but I'm sure you're like me (I love watching FOX just so I can get spun up and have something to rant about here on BD).

CBS covers for Biden:

As he exited the hotel for his dinner break, Biden was asked “Senator, can we get your reaction to the House bill not passing?”

Biden interrupted the question with a “Hey folks,” to reporters and then said “Oh, things are going well.”

Biden’s press secretary, David Wade, sent an e-mail minutes later, saying “the senator thought you asked how prep was going” for this week’s debate with Gov. Sarah Palin.

Prior to Biden's departure, the press was moved further away from the hotel's exit, perhaps far enough away that it prevented Biden from clearly hearing the question.
