Biden – For and against clean coal
By | Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 | Politics

Joe Biden this week in Ohio:

“No coal plants here in America,” he said. “Build them, if they’re going to build them, over there. Make them clean.”

“We’re not supporting clean coal,” he said of himself and Obama. (Politico)

Except 3 days ago in Virginia, boy did he like clean coal!

The Vice Presidential nominee also kept coal at the forefront, saying he could use the $4 billion in tax breaks that McCain wants to give to oil companies to instead develop clean coal technologies. (Fox)

But, no, the media will harp on Sarah Palin for praying and for firing an incompetent employee. Let’s see if they report Biden’s flip-flop inside of 3 days on using coal.

Saying you wouldn’t support clean coal, and then saying that you’d rather support clean coal than oil isn’t a flip flop. It’s like how many felt in 2004, the voting for the lesser of two evils.

Joel, would you fund things you don’t support?

Geez, first you have Palin slip and refer to the Palin-McCain ticket, now Biden slips and falls back to his primary season position on clean coal (which happens to be in opposition to Obama’s).

Memo to VP candidates – you’re at the bottom of the ticket. Kindly be so good as to stay there.

How about if Palin just has the guts to actually answer a question or two?

She is the worst candidate for VP since Cheney – though, she’s far more like Quale.

    Country first my ass.

Amazing. Biden panders to voters on both sides of an issue, and the whiners STILL can’t stop attacking Sarah Palin.
