Changes and Gravatars
By JR Hoeft | Saturday, September 13th, 2008 | Catch-AllWell, it looks like most of you have figured out by now that BD is not the same as it used to be. And, I’m pretty sure we’re not done yet — at least in style. I have something radically different still in mind.
Couple of things I think you should be aware of:
1) I welcome Danae Jones, Jeremy Hinton and Mark Baker to the line-up. They are not just “token” liberals, but bring a robust and, sometimes, rambunctious quality of opinion to the conversation. They can definitely hold their own and I hope they challenge and provoke those of us who sometimes drink the Kool-Aid to think a little bit.
2) Gravatars, gravatars, gravatars. This is that little image next to your comment that you see some of us have, but many of you don’t. Please, if you will do me the favor, upload an image…any image…that you would like to represent your visage. You can do so by using MyBlogLog Gravatar.com.
3) We’re not done yet. I am “buying” a theme, in all likelihood, that we’ll be tweaking the heck out of. Bearing Drift, the blog, will remain, but our features, podcasts, videos, photographs, etc…will be much more prominently displayed. So, if you really like this theme…speak now or forever hold your peace. Otherwise, I’m movin’ on.

I think the improvements have been the best yet! And as for the new additions, I think this is great. No other VA blog does this.
True conversation is a two way and sometimes a two (or more) opinion thing. Jim has, once again, set Bearing Drift apart from the empty echo chambers so many blogs have become.
How do we upload these gravatar things? Do we have to have a yahoo account?
Yet again you come out with terrific piece of work. would anyone that kind of information and written speech to make next week, and always looking for.
