Suit well and thank her for her nine years of representing the 81st District. My question is who will succeed Del. Suit as Chairman of the House General Laws Committee. Del. Albo is next in seniority, but since he chairs Courts of Justice, he won't be interested. Next in seniority is Del. Chris Jones, who serves as Vice Chairman of General Laws. Personally, I think it would be great if Del. Jones is made the new Chairman, so that it will remain in the hands of a Delegate from Hampton Roads (both of whom represent a portion of Chesapeake). If anyone knows any inside information from Speaker Howell, please share. I wish Del. Suit well and thank her for her nine years of representing the 81st District.
