Obama says “no you can’t”
By Brian Kirwin | Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 | PoliticsBarack Obama visits Norfolk’s Granby High School Wednesday. Wanna see him? You can’t.
“The event is by invitation and tickets are not being distributed to the public” (Virginian-Pilot)
John McCain and Palin will be in Northern Virginia at an event that will be OPEN to the public.
What’s the matter, Apollo? Didn’t Granby have a teleprompter?

I’ve heard of reading between the lines, but I think you’re reading waaaaay past them.
I find it hard to believe that Dems can take Obama’s push for Virginia seriously when he won’t even let citizens try to attend. By invitation only smacks of big donor rewards and merely a means to get money, not vote, and certainly not play in a state he will need come November.
Did you see the moonbats’ … er, “RK’s” post on the McCain/Palin visit, and local Dems efforts to get it thrown out of the high school.
I certainly hope that local Republicans are quoting them to local officials in Norfolk.
