In 2006, from the time of the Vice President’s visit here the V-P began setting the table to endorse Phil Kellam. It was only when Kellam became his worst own enemy, then stood up Dennis Hartig at the Sandbridge Civic League, that the V-P reluctantly endorsed Drake.

You are dead on, the hypocrisy and bias in the media has never been more evident than in the last week. It wasn’t 24 hours after Palin’s choice as the Vice-Presidential candidate that the media attack dogs began tearing her down.

Through unsubstantiated rumors with no proof, the liberal attack dogs began accusing Governor Palin of faking her pregnancy, until the only choice left for the McCain campaign was to blast the life of a 17-year old girl all over the paper.

Why hasn’t the media investigated the 17-year old Barack Obama and asked him how long he used cocaine, did he ever sell it and when did he truly kick the habit. I’m sure many of the liberals out there will accuse me of making this up with no proof, but these comments and suggested questions come from Barack Obama’s own quotes in his book. For those of you who aren’t aware, Senator Obama retells his life as a 17-year old doing pot, drinking heavily and even “blow when we could afford it.” He does not go into detail as to how long he used for, but he does mention having to hide it from his mom.

I think the public deserves to know how long was this man, who is the actual candidate, doing these ILLEGAL activities. Did he ever sell drugs, when did he stop, is he still taking them. All of these were valid questions when Clinton exclaimed, “I didn’t inhale,” which Obama refers to by remarking in his book the he most definitely did inhale. It was also an issue of the partying and drinking of George W. Bush.

So, where is the media asking questions about our possible future president’s illegal activities? They would rather concentrate on the life of a 17-year old girl who IS NOT running for president, instead of the illegal activity of a potential future president.

It doesn’t explain how they think the GOP is so “angry” and the Democrats are just “on the offense.”

Unless the Virginian-Pilot is full of “idealogues” – nah, that couldn’t be!
