About the author

Jane Dudley

Jane Dudley has enjoyed conservatism and photography for over 30 years. After looking around at the mediocre state of affairs of political photography as it exists on the right, she decided to start making better images, to document Virginia Republicans and to inspire them to make more of an effort to put a fine face on their fine ideas. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and works in new media.

The only problem is that OODA doesn’t work when you’re flying in a WWII corsair and the enemy is in a modern stealth fighter jet.

Let’s hope Palin are his jet engines. (I must admit that I am at least a little excited about her.)

Thanks Jane! As one not familiar with Boyd or his lessons, it was a fascinating read.

Actually, looks like this is pretty spot on.

Mr. Obama’s advisers said that compared with the mountains of data they had gathered on Mr. Pawlenty and Mr. Romney, they had far less information on Ms. Palin. Their dossier consisted of a thin document based mainly on her run for governor and newspaper clips. (NYT)

It was almost as thin as the list of states Joe Biden got above 1% in two presidential campaigns.
