Violating copyright laws, say the feds

“A blogger suspected of streaming songs from the unreleased Guns N’ Roses album “Chinese Democracy” on his Web site was arrested Wednesday and appeared in court, where his bail was set at $10,000. (Daily Press)”

Guns N’ Roses has been working on the album since 1994, and the 27-year old Kevin Cogill allegedly posted 9 unreleased songs for the perennially-upcoming album.

Prosecutors said Wednesday the leak could result in a “significant” financial loss for the band.

So could working on an album for 14 years.

Ha! Thanks for brightening my day, Brian!

14 years…that’s a long time for three minutes of shouting, expletives and crotch grabbing.

Those damn bloggers. I say round the lot of them up, take away their computers, and throw them all in jail!

J.R., I didn’t need that visual of Brian waiting for the release of the G&R album.

    Brian,

Look at Drudge for the ABC reporter arrested in Denver on a public sidewalk. Scary!

I had no idea that anyone was actually still interested in Guns and Roses.

Now will Axl Rose get arrested for being such a prodigious ass hat as to release an album of crap that took 14 years to make. What about the people that downloaded it. There’s a class action case there for ripping people off.
