Everything old is new again
By | Thursday, August 21st, 2008 | Politics

I had hoped earlier this year that I had seen the tail end of the public digging into the real estate holdings and deals of a presidential candidate once the air went out of the whole Obama-lot/Rezko affair and it was consigned to historical footnote status. Apparently though what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, as its McCain’s turn for the press to be digging into the details of his real estate holdings.

Hopefully this is a one day thing, and will fade quickly. That way, we can instead talk about more important things, like who Obama will invite to the dance or which country McCain would put us at war with first, Russia or Iran. Personally I’m pulling for dark horses on both issues – Josiah Barlet for Obama and no one for McCain.

It is a standard Dem tactic to demonize “Rich people” while ignoring their own wealth. I mean the Dems took the “$5 Million is rich” from McCain out of context (as predicited).

Gee, why did he laugh when he said $5 Million? Because that is what Obama made last year…. The same guy trying to demonize wealth.

BTW Cindy McCain owns the houses, not Sen. McCain. I woder if anyone they bought from is a fellon?
