Bolling voted second-best of the seconds
By | Monday, July 28th, 2008 | Catch-All

Congratulations, seriously, to Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling who was elected this weekend to be the Vice Chairman of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA). He previously served as Treasurer of the NLGA and also serves on the Association’s Executive Committee.

However, doesn’t it kind of have the connotation of “best blogger”…or something like that. ;-)

Of course, this could be a very short-lived term at the NLGA for him!

Jim, thanks for the post. We didn’t mention this in the release, but the Vice Chairman almost always becomes Chairman of the NLGA the following year. So technically, you may want to call him first in-waiting of the second bests. :)

However, I wouldn’t say this eclipses being the “best blogger”. There is much more competition in the blogosphere than the NLGA.

Seriously, we consider it an honor that Lt. Governor Bolling’s peers (Republicans and Democrats alike) recognized his leadership and elected to this position after only two and half years in the office.
