Who says Democrats aren’t for tax breaks?
By JR Hoeft | Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 | Catch-AllEver wonder why the wealthiest people seem to be Democrats? Probably because they know all the tax-loopholes.
That couldn’t be better demonstrated than the Dems wanting to get away without paying taxes on gasoline for the vehicles they’re using at their national convention.
Ed Morrissey of Hot Air has more details on the story broken yesterday by the Rocky Mountain News.
Too bad the convention folks don’t share their desire for a gas tax holiday for their own vehicles with the rest of us.

Are you serious? Most of the wealthiest in our nation are Republican – too many of them getting rich off of government programs (Haliburton, KBR, Blackwater…) courtesy of GOP administrations…
C’mon J.R. give ‘em a break. These are hard times economically. The convention goers need to save money on gas so they can afford to donate the money they save to Obama’s campaign. Times are so bad right now, no one has any money to donate to Obama’s cash-strapped campaign.
For those of you who don’t know me, that’s sarcasm.
[...] Drift notes that there is no wonder why Democrats aren’t for tax breaks. Nobody games the system [...]
