Republican Party of Virginia unveils new logo

RPV continues to revamp not only the leadership and administration, but also has a new logo, as seen at left. From what I understand, trunk down is meant to represent luck. Up or down, the logo is just another example of “hope” and “change” at RPV!

Hum, instead of an elephant on the RPV logo, perhaps accurate animal to represent today’s GOP would have been either a rhino or a rat?

Oddly, did you notice that the new RVP logo has their elephant marching towards the LEFT?

Well, at least there is some truth in that!

Even more fitting and revealing is that the gigantic, lumbering pachyderm has his backside towards Tidewater. He appears to have just left Tidewater as he is wandering off is search of more peanuts somewhere else.

Isn’t that the truth? Tidewater Conservatives and old school Republicans know that the Virginia GOP leadership really doesn’t care about what their old Republican base in Tidewater thinks, and, as a result, the Democrats are winning elections in Tidewater.

Yup, great logo – it show the whole that the new leadership of the RPV admits that they have turned their back on Tidewater and they have left us.

I suppose this goes to show that RINOs are pachyderms too.

    Please vote Libertarian!

    Bill Repath for VA Senate!

    Bob Barr for U.S. President.

Our logo clearly reveals that we stand for Liberty.

The Elephant looks like an ant eater.. other than that, I like it.

Reid, breathe… If you drink, stop… If you don’t, start.

Reid calls himself the “Republican base in Tidewater” while he voted for Democrats for Governor twice in a row.

    Brian,

Yeah, isn’t it sad that we don’t have any decent Republican candidates to vote FOR?

Squeaky, I suppose it might upset you to learn but I don’t ahve any trouble breathing.

To all: I was once a member of the “Republican base” in Tidewater. But since the Republican Party has lost its way I have joined the Libertarian Party instead.

Trunk down means luck is being dispensed while trunk up means luck is being collected. I think they’re trying to say that it is about time RPV started dispensing some luck to our candidates for a change.

As for the elephant marching towards the left, perhaps it is to go stomp on some liberals that it sees over there. :)

Riley, nope. The GOP leadership is foolishly marching to the LEFT to pander to certain “minority voting blocks” - and they foolishly abandoned their base in the process.
