AP and its tales of economic “woe”

I’m not saying the economy does not have its issues, but I find these two headlines from the AP ironicially similar:

Fed chief details woes in markets, housing, jobs
Bush to talk today about housing, financial woes

Is “woe” the new “slog” or “gravitas”?
