Bearing Drift credentialed for RNC Convention

Bearing Drift has been selected by the RNC to cover the convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul from Sep. 1-4.

According to the notification, the press credential

“allows access to the 200 Level of the Xcel Energy Center as well as access to the Media Center, Press Conference Room and Filing Center. This credential does not provide access to any broadcast position, camera stand or writing press stand, nor does it provide access to the delegate floor (emph. added).”

My understanding is that Democrats are allowing their state bloggers to sit with the delegation. So, while I am gratified to be credentialed, this bit of news is a downer.
