Legacy is a big deal for those who watch Virginia governors: Mark Warner raised taxes to benefit education, health programs and public safety; Jim Gilmore cut the car tax; George Allen abolished parole and reformed welfare. (Virginian-Pilot)

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.

Yea, but you weren’t quoted directly, so that doesn’t count.

Since the media doesn’t want bloggers to quote and link to them anymore without charging for it, I guess what you think they did to you is what what we also should start doing: obliquely quote them, but not credit them anymore.
