We’ve come a long way, baby!
By E M Barner | Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 | Catch-AllPrenatal surgery may have saved Macie “Hope” McCartney’s life. Her story is an amazing tribute to the dedication and skill of her surgical team and a testimony to the beauty of human life – even at it’s most vulnerable.

Macie’s surgery: doctors removed a grapefruit sized tumor from her tailbone.
At 22 weeks, this fetus is clearly a patient. Macie has parents who love her and would give anything to see her healthy. Unfortunately, that’s the only difference between Macie and hundreds of babies who are aborted at this stage of pregnancy of every year.
Fox Health has more.

I think this is the saddest to see
Why would people do this to a baby? In my mine I think this baby would have love to have been a ble to see what life is like on the out said. And for some one to take it that is just wrong. If your parent allowed you to live. Why would you take your baby life??? : (
the 2 previous readers mis-read the caption…the baby was not aborted. a tumer was removed.

I think it’s amazing what medicine can do now. Kudos to mom and dad, AND the team that worked so hard on this baby to make sure she is healthy. There is still love in this world.
