Mark Warner – not paying taxes?
By | Thursday, May 29th, 2008 | Catch-All

Obviously, Mark Warner doesn’t mind making us pay more taxes. His taxes? That’s another story.

U.S. Senate candidate and former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner belonged to partnerships that were delinquent in paying property taxes at least 17 times during the 1990s, amassing more than $3,000 in late fees. (Washington Times)

The millionaire couldn’t find his checkbook?

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.

That’s more than a little bit o’ spin by the Washington (Loony) Times. Warner belonged to business PARTNERSHIPS that were delinquint in paying property taxes. Is it a good thing, obviously no, but it doesn’t say much about him or his character.

PS – your cartoon today raises issues regarding Hillary’s claims of sexism – most definitely true, and Obama’s claims of racisim, but misses (not surprisingly) McCain’s repeated claims of ageism.

Nice that all three candidates have some form of victim complex, on that they are all equal.
