Perhaps we should take a trip to Smurf land, so they can all see Grumpy. Reminds me of McCain.

Finally! Someone who "gets it." Thank you, Dan!

Now, can we please go see Mickey? (Why am I thinking that Stephen is going to say he'd prefer to see Donald?)

If you kids don't knock it off, I'm turning this car around, and we are NOT going to Disneyland.

Personally, I like a lot of the Huckabee folks. Even though their candidate wasn't Conservative enough, I think that a lot of their hearts are in the right place. They'll come around too. The Ron Paul Revolution is a long term thing. We will restore this party's lost principles, from the bottom up. Between Singh, McKinley, Paetz, and a few others that are running for House of Delegates, State Senate, Congress and Senate, it will happen. One guy getting elected President isn't a revolution. A major sea change in the legislature is, and thankfully, the legislature is still more powerful than the executive branch (no matter how chagrined the Neocon Tories are by that fact).

Henry, I do believe a big part of why Huckabee keeps doing so well is that he's not anti-war, while most of the "small r" Republicans - folks that vote Republican that aren't necessarily active, like I used to be, are so convinced that this war is necessary while being completely unaware of how it's bankrupting us. They also don't get that interventionism overseas breeds interventionism here at home. Likewise, they also don't understand how after every war America has been in, the Government has more power and authority afterwards.. or, maybe they do get it, and are okay with it, which is even more disturbing.

Oh man... Imagine me, trying to talk to someone who has a broken sense of the English language.

Sanctimonious
1. making a hypocritical show of religious devotion, piety, righteousness, etc.

Maybe you shouldn't be using big words?

Huh?

Sanctimonious, means a holier-than-thou sense of moral superiority. If that doesn't describe the people who routinely comment on behalf of Ron Paul here, I don't know what else would.

Slander is intentionally trying to harm someone's reputation through the use of FALSE information.

Where has anyone on this blog ever used information to intentionally ruin someone's reputation?

Geez....it's like debating a brick wall.

What's really funny is that there's a healthy protest vote, regardless of the candidate, even though the msm has repeatedly told us that The Fat Lady has sung.

I think these protesters are actually voting *for* conservative principles rather than falling in line behind yet another RINO, largely shoved down our throats by the msm.

I find Huckabee supporters to be similar to us Paul supporters; they're conservatives who feel betrayed, they're excited about their candidate and willing to work hard for him, they believe their candidate actually has core conservative principles and they believe that their candidate will represent them, something sadly lacking in republicans these days.

While Huck's not my cup of tea, it's very easy for me to see why he's so likable. He's smart and he's a fabulous speaker with a great sense of humor. And he has a Real Person for a wife, a very lovely and intelligent woman.

So, laugh all you want but I think those protest voters are the "tireless minority" who are the new face of the republican party.
