Can these McCain promises be kept?
By | Thursday, May 15th, 2008 | Politics

Sen. John McCain, Republican presidential candidate, laid out in a new ad today his bold vision for the country; he did so by uniquely looking at the country in 2013:

The real question is, can McCain deliver on these promises? Or, perhaps more importantly, do Democrats have an equally ambitious agenda?

    What’s best about it is “2013″. McCain is flat-out saying he’s still going to be President and into his second term.

    That’s the kind of audacity of hope I like!

    Why didn’t he add that we won’t need sprinklers anymore because it will rain on everyone’s lawn daily?

    Some MBA in McCain’s ad group has been to one too many ‘results oriented management’ conferences.

    Hmm, so Obama accomplishes all that in 4 years, and then steps down to give the other guy a shot and see what he can do better. Who’d a thunk it?

    Good question;
    Can he keep the promises, or will he?
    He is promising more amnesty if elected. That one I believe!
    He is promising constructionist judges.That one I do not.
    The Gang of Fourteen is a far better barometer than a promise made when needing conservatives to allow themselves to get screwed yet again.
    Beam me up, Johnny……..
