Brian, how do you think education has reached this pitiful level?
Honestly, I don’t think the schools got worse. I think the world changed, and what was good enough 50 years ago isn’t good enough anymore.
Massified, homogenized education measured by time and not accomplishment is contrary to every standard outside education.
Students learn according to how many years they’ve been in the system by teacher paid according to how many years they’ve been in the system. Achievement changes nothing, so you get less of it.
