Calling Mark Warner’s bluff
By Brian Kirwin | Monday, May 5th, 2008 | PoliticsI know many folks would like to let Democrats get away with everything from now until Labor Day without calling them on it, but since Mark Warner is on the campaign trail this week, let’s just do what Democrats hate: Take their words seriously.
He wants to be a “radical centrist.” Well, will Hillary or Obama be a “centrist?” It’s time Mark Warner answers one simple question.
On what issues will the “radical centrist” differ from Obama or Clinton?
Which one?
Government takeover of healthcare? Higher taxes? Running out of Iraq quicker than a Clinton intern delivers pizza? Repealing education standards? C’mon, “radical centrist.” Do something even more radical for you. Tell us what you’ll do before Election Day.
C’mon, centrist. Where do you and Ms. Cattle Futures and the Obamanation disagree?
Update: Virginia Virtucon takes Mark on as well.

I can’t wait till the new Democratic majority in Virginia sends Gov. Warner to the Senate.
We need more rational, centrist, ethical voices like his in the Senate, and fewer authoritarian, anti-Constitutional Republicans.
