Secret Abortions at 12?
By Brian Kirwin | Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 | Catch-AllIs this how far to the left the Democratic Party has become? Politico’s story about Barack Obama’s answers to a questionnaire threw a big wrench into his “my staff filled those out” defense, when it comes to minors having secret abortions.
“minors should be required to get parental consent — or at least notify their parents — before having abortion”
The answer was “No” (Obama claims a staffperson filled it out). But in the margins in his own handwriting, Obama wrote “Depends on how young — possibly for extremely young teens, i.e., 12- or 13-year-olds.”
Wow! What a compromiser! If your daughter gets an abortion and is still in grade school, Obama says you “possibly” should know about it.
Heck – with his National Health Care plan, you’ll probably be paying for it.
Oh, he won’t say so, now. He doesn’t even agree with what he wrote in 1996. Nuance? Or just a recognition that what sells in his old district in the Chicago’s South Side ain’t gonna fly on a national scale.
I can’t remember the last time a Democrat rose to prominence within the Party without pledging allegiance to the National Abortion Rights Action League and Planned Parenthood cartel.
All I can say is – next time a Democrat talks about “bipartisanship,” ask them where their pro-life leaders are.

Well, this would stay consistant with Obama’s policies… like Sex Ed for kindergarteners. Remember?
