Fimian endorsed by Davis
By | Monday, March 31st, 2008 | Politics

U.S. Rep. Tom Davis (R-VA11) has decided that Northern Virginia businessman Keith Fimian is the best GOP candidate to replace the retiring congressman. In a letter to constituents, Davis said of Fimian:

“I could not and would not have taken this step, unless I knew there was a strong Republican candidate waiting in the wings to replace me—a committed Republican who shares our values and can provide the leadership our district desperately needs in congress. Keith Fimian is that Republican. That is why I have strongly endorsed him.”

Yet another example of the GOP taking strong, proactive steps to identify and support candidates early.
