The Pastor Disaster
By Brian Kirwin | Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 | Politics“I don’t want to be an enabler or be encouraging in any way of the kind of programming that results in the unbelievably offensive statements that were made,” said Barack Obama, when he said Imus should be fired.
But that’s not what he said about his Pastor. About Pastor Wright’s horribly offensive racial tirades, Obama said this – “As imperfect as he may be, he has been like family to me.”
Why the double standard?

Cuz only white folks be racist. Black folks be stickin’ it to de Man.
Well its clear, Brian. Imus’ big mistake was not officiating Obama’s wedding or baptizing his kids. Pretty short sighted of him, don’t you think
?
Thanks for making the point, Jeremy.
Competition still exists in religion too…lots of churches to choose from, even a short distance away.
Obama didn’t have to sit for twenty years listening to anti-American and racist rhetoric.
Even moreso, Obama didn’t have to give his pastor a free pass this past week and call his white grandmother a racist!
