Google Strikes Again. Shows Their Stripes

When I woke this morning I was excited to see my children’s faces as they saw what the Easter Bunny left them. I was also excited to see what cool graphic Google would have for this Easter… Then I remembered, Google hates Christians.

They are never at a loss for Earth Day, European Holidays and a range of causes, non-Christian Holidays, but Easter? Nope (See a screen shot from today).

I will give them this; Google does do something for Christmas, but then again they make a lot of money at Christmas.

Maybe we should all Google the phrase “Why does Google hate Christians?” and get it on the top of Google Trends today?

BTW, and I am sure this is just a coincidence, Google and their employees tend to donate exclusively to liberal candidates, by the millions. I am sure the contempt for Christianity and the love of liberals is just a coincidence. I am sure it is.

Yeah, a laugh riot.

But let us all make sure we kiss the Middle East’s ass. I mean a cartoon might cause riots, beheadings, etc.

Why do I suspect that even if Google decided to put something up in celebration of Easter that you somehow what still not be happy and that liberals would be to blame for whatever it was?

This actually got me wondering, so i took a look at their history of holiday logo changes.

They did easter in 2000 and 2001, but not since. And christmas is always seasons greetings. On the flip side, i don’t see kwanza, yom kippur, eid or diwali either. So i’d say that they just have a secular holiday policy rather than a non-christian one. Christmas (in its neutered seansons greetings form) gets through since its become so thoroughly secularized and/or multi-culturalized.

I want you all to know that those of us who are of the Jewish faith did not feel slighted when Google failed to note Purim, nor will we be the slightest bit annoyed if Google ignores Passover.

On the other hand, I want you to know that most Jews enjoy celebrating Easter, joining in egg hunts and playing the Easter bunny. Modern Jews typically enjoy Christmas, Easter and other religious celebrations, much in the same way someone who isn’t American can still enjoy the Fourth of July.

In short, everyone can enjoy Easter, regardless of our various religious core beliefs.

As for Google, if you don’t like their secular business practices, or their allegiance to political correctness, I encourage everyone to use other search engines, or perhaps a web crawler that incorporates several search engines, such as Metacrawler.com

Metacrawler is better than just using Google and it returns what I find to be better quality hits.
