Wagner introduces tax bill

Though I don’t think it’s going very far, a bill was introduced today by Sen. Frank Wagner to raise taxes for transportation.

SB 798 Revenues for the Hampton Roads Transportation Authority. Establishes certain state taxes and fees with the revenues therefrom to be used by the Hampton Roads Transportation Authority for transportation purposes.

The session ends Saturday.

    Hey, if Wagner is going to start talking about raising the fuel tax and stop being the Tollway King, he might get some consideration out of me that he has indeed “changed his evil ways”.

    But he might have to swear on a stack of Bibles (we need to include all of the competing translations) in order to make me a believer.
