Cuccinelli for Attorney General?
So states the Washington Times. The Times also lists Sens. Mark Obenshain and Ryan McDougle, as well as Dels. Rob Bell and Terry Kilgore as interested in the job.

I guess this answers my question then.
Cooch for AG!
Very interesting article and I think the lines are already being drawn between a T. Kilgore candidacy and Cuccinelli.
Normally I would agree with Jerry Kilgore’s comments about the importance of rural Virginia with a NOVA candidate, which is basically a smackdown of Cuccinelli but Cuccinelli is anything but a normal NOVA candidate. Cuccinelli has statewide appeal with his unabashed conservatism in a liberal-moderate district. Hardcore conservatives who care about pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-family will flock to Cuccinelli in large numbers not seen in a long time in both rural and the suberbs.
Terry Kilgore would also make an excellent candidate but I get a strong feeling that if Cuccinelli decides to run, the race is essentially over because of Cuccinelli’s strong statewide appeal with his past advocacy. Terry Kilgore will be a very strong candidate down the road but I do think its the wrong year for him.
