Hager receives sweeping endorsement

Current RPV Chairman John Hager has received the endorsement of all 11 congressional district chairs and others in his bid to remain RPV chairman.

In their letter, supporters stated:

Let us tell it like it is, now is not then time for disruption. Now is the time for us all to be together on the same page, working for the same cause and generating results.

Such as like last November’s?

Hager is being challenged by Del. Jeff Frederick.

Some say that it is a sign of mental illness when someone keeps doing the same thing, yet expecting a different result.

RPVA has not used the vast network of grassroots volunteers here in the Commonwealth to reach out to new citizens, especially Latino and Asians. Sure there is a do-nothing outreach committee, but there is nothing getting done on the ground in our communities. Meanwhile, the Democrats have doubled their support among the Latino-Virginians and are making inroads into the Indian-Asian segment of new Virginia voters.

Neither Mr. Hager nor Mr. Frederick have, to date, offered new or creative ideas for getting more new voters into the Republican ranks.

A positive step would be for both of these gentlemen to discuss in some public forum their new ideas for expanding our Party’s membership, especially among the new citizens.

Hahahahahahahaha, cough, hack. Oh excuse me.

    New voters?

The RPV hasn’t even figured out how to keep the old ones.

    New voters?
The party shoots its own members so who would want to join? People like me are sick of the us vs them mentality that pits factions within the party against each other. The enemy is the guy who doesn’t see things exactly the way another member sees them. Each side does everything possible to “purge” the party of the other faction. The enemy to many are fellow Republicans NOT the Democrats. If you cannot weork out things within your party, why would I want to support you to represent me locally, statewide, or nationally? I MAY vote for some Republicans but not all of them on my ballot. No more campaign contributions to any of them. ADIOS.
